Which clubs mean business in 2018?
The NRL kicks off on March 8th and it’s shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated seasons in recent times. The Storm will be aiming to be the first team to go back-to-back since the NRL competition was born in 1998, whilst the Knights will be on a crusade to avoid their fourth consecutive wooden spoon.
There’s been plenty of player movements in the off-season, most notably Cooper Cronk and Mitchell Pearce leaving their long-time clubs, whilst Dean Pay, Garth Brennan and Anthony Seibold will step into the pressure-cooker world of NRL coaching.
Our leading NRL analyst, Michael Gannon, has cast his eye over all 16 clubs, their line-ups and prospects for 2018 to come up with your comprehensive team-by-team season preview.
This week we reveal the teams that Michael predicts will play finals footy this year, rounding out his NRL ladder prediction for season 2018.
