Sky Racing is a racing media network owned and operated by TAB Corp. The media network broadcasts
Australian and International racing content across three distribution mediums
within Australia.
- Television via Sky Racing channels accessible through licensed
club and hotel venues across Australia and from punters' lounge rooms via
subscription pay-television services e.g.Foxtel and Optus vision.
- Radio broadcasting via the Sky AM radio channel (formally
2KY) in Sydney and Canberra, Radio TAB in Brisbane and Adelaide and through
it's channel partners RSN in Victoria, TAB Racing Radio in West Australia,
Radio TAB in Northern Territory and TOTE Sport Radio in Tasmania.

pool includes race callers, many who cover more than one race code type, racing

Sky has the greatest reach amongst all of its broadcast competitors in the racing industry, with vision captured for live
thoroughbred, harness and greyhound races in every state,
across metropolitan, provincial and country race tracks, every day they are run. Punters and live betting
venues can choose to expand their content options by accessing International racing vision through the network. Sky's International content covers all three
racing codes across almost every continent on the globe including:

Racing Previews and Shows
Sky Racing produces several pre-race and post-race audio visual programs. The
post-mortem race program for Saturday racing, Thoroughbred Weekly,
airs on Sunday and is one of the most popular programs of its type amongst punters.
The format reviews all major Saturday races with the panel identifying key horses
to watch and covering other racing news.

Sky Racing Tipsters
There are a significant number of tipsters amongst Sky Racing's large pool
of media talent. Sky race callers, commentators and journalists all contribute
their expert racing opinions via tips for each of the three communication mediums. Each day
there is at least one Sky racing personality tipping for any given race meeting.
The race caller for any particular race meeting will provide his/her tips for
each race on the program and in some cases they will highlight their best bets.
Race callers tend to produce a greater proportion of profitable tipsters compared
to other groups within the Australian racing media. This trend is understood to relate
to their high level of exposure to racing which gives them a unique close-up view of
races and an ear-on-the-ground at racecourses where they call.
