AFL Odds

On this page you will find updates to the latest changes in AFL odds, including some of the most popular futures markets such AFL Premiership, the Brownlow medal, and the Coleman medal.

By keeping track of these markets, and seeing which odds are getting crunched while others are left unfancied in the betting, it will provide punters with another tool to get a gauge on not only what, but when to place the best bets on the AFL.

The main futures market is the AFL Premiership, which is the team that will triumph on Grand Final day. It is important not to confuse this with the Minor Premiership market, which means the team that will finish the regular season in first place on the ladder.

The AFL Premiership odds fluctuate week by week, depending on not only whether certain teams win or lose, but also how they play, key injuries and suspensions.

The two most prestigious individual awards, the Brownlow and Coleman medals, are also popular futures markets in the AFL.

The Brownlow Medal is the award given to the best and fairest player in the AFL regular season. In each AFL game, the three best players are awarded 3, 2 and 1 points respectively by the umpires, with these votes revealed on Brownlow night in the lead up to the Grand Final.

Like the Premiership market, these AFL odds fluctuate regularly, depending on weekly performances. Punters need to beware the fact that once suspended, a player becomes ineligible to win the Brownlow that year.

Finally, the Coleman Medal is awarded to the top goal kicker at the end of the regular season. Aside from being an interesting market in itself, the Coleman AFL odds can provide an indication of which players are helping their team in the goal-kicking department.

Along with the Brownlow, players whose odds shorten demonstrate the in-form players in the league, often corresponding with their team's form.

By following our AFL Odds updates throughout the season, punters can keep abreast of the latest developments in the world of AFL betting.
