About Super Racing

SuperRacing.com.au is the on-line portal for News Limited's horse racing content. It hosts a landing page which directs visitors to one of four sites relating to their particular state of racing:

  • New South Wales which uses content from the Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper;
  • Victoria uses content from the Melbourne Herald Sun;
  • Queensland uses content from the Brisbane Courier Mail; and
  • South Australia using content from the Adelaide Advertiser.

Each site shares content and uses a a similar web page format, prioritising stories and tips which relate to local racing events ahead of other content published by its national racing talent pool. The dynamic nature of its web pages offers SuperRacing.com.au visitors some key benefits over its printed news counterparts.

  • Racing stories are accessible as soon as they are released from the editor rather than waiting for the next print run;
  • Tips and race field lists include updated scratchings and odds;
  • Punters can interact with journalists' articles and commentary by leaving their own remarks on the site;
  • Race field displays highlight races which are Next To Jump and show results for races that have run; and
  • The content is free of charge.

Super Racing Tips

Tips posted on the SuperRacing.com.au website come from multiple sources across the News Limited stable. Tips for races run in NSW are predominantly supplied by racing talent from the Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Each tipster's selections are published in the newspaper that they work for by default and also appear on the Tips page at SuperRacing.com.au. The difference between the tips posted on the website compared to those printed on the newspaper is that best bets are included in the printed version using a mark against the selection in the tip list embedded in the form guide.

Other sources for tips which appear on the site include the form analysts from the racing publication Sportsman.
