What did the bookies miss at Ballarat & Rosehill this Saturday?
We've scoured the form and unearthed three runners who we rate over the odds this weekend.
Ballarat Race 9 #11 Debonairly
The Waterhouse-Bott trained filly beat Global Glamour in a recent trail before a forgiving run first-up where she was found to be lame. She didn’t handle the Flemington straight in that run so expect improvement with the switch back to a circular course where she has three wins from five starts. Debonairly is currently $4.20 Fixed Odds.
Rosehill Race 3 #8 Mornington
Drops 3.5kg from his last start third where he couldn’t stay the trip. Fitter now and gets a softer barrier which will allow jockey Glen Schofield to sit directly behind the leaders for the run of the race. The Chris Waller trained galloper will improve significantly off his first Australian run and has received early market support coming into $4.20 after opening at $4.60.
Rosehill 7 #17 Miss Dubois
Steps up to her favourite trip over the 2000m and gets a key jockey switch with in-form Kerrin McEvoy taking the ride. Drawn the car park however the race appears to have plenty of runners who will push forward early, giving her every opportunity to settle in-field. Miss Dubois is currently $4.60 Fixed Odds.
