Melbourne Victory will be confident of back-to-back championships this year after their demolition of the Wanderers last week.
This time they come up against heated rivals Adelaide, who will look to halt Melbourne's momentum.
Another top match on Saturday sees the other team from Melbourne look to knock Perth off their perch at the top of the table.
The round wraps up with Newcastle looking for their first home win of the season against the Brisbane Roar.
Melbourne Victory v Adelaide United
A-League Odds: Victory $2 / Draw $3.50 / United $3.40
This cracking fixture sees the Reds face the Victory in what is the "original derby" of the A-League.
These teams met in the 2007 and 2009 A-League grand finals, which both resulted in victory for the Melbournians.
Since then, this has always proved a heated, spiteful and not to mention entertaining fixture.
In the 2007 Grand Final, Victory triumphed by six goals to nil. Based on their performance last week, a similar scoreline could be on the cards here.
Melbourne were simply breathtaking against the Wanderers last week, particularly in the first half.
Keisuke Honda starred in a first-half display that saw the Wanderers opened up time and again. The visitors went in to the break 3-0 down, but it could easily have been more.
The Victory put the cue in the rack in the second half, running away to triumph 4-0.
This didn't please marquee signing Honda, who was visibly arguing with Victory captain Carl Valeri after the final whistle.
Honda thought that Melbourne should have gone on with the game, and given the team from Western Sydney a real hiding.
If he's in a similar mood here, you can expect a comfortable win for the home team.
But Adelaide are by no stretch of the imagination pushovers.
They have already picked up a piece of silverware this season in the FFA cup.
This has been backed up in the A-League, where the Reds sit fourth on the ladder, having only tasted defeat once this season.
Craig Goodwin has been a star since returning to Adelaide.
He had another influential game last week when the Reds got the better of the Roar in a fiery encounter at home.
That should have them ready for what will be a tough assignment here.
Key A-League Stat
The Victory have won their previous 4 A-League matches: Melbourne to win @ $2
A-League Tip: Melbourne to win @ $2
Reasoning: Based on last week's performance by the Victory, you couldn't tip any other result.
Perth Glory v Melbourne City
A-League Odds: Glory $2.10 / Draw $3.40 / City $3.20
Another fascinating fixture on Saturday will see the top-of-the-table Glory host the 5th-placed Melbourne City.
The spotlight has been shining bright on the team from Melbourne in recent weeks after the bust-up between head coach Warren Joyce and star striker Bruno Fornaroli.
Joyce is reportedly unhappy with Fornaroli's efforts at training, and has subsequently dropped the Uruguayan from City's previous two matches.
This treatment of fan-favourite Fornaroli has angered City supporters, who seem to have taken the player's side ahead of the coach.
However, some of this anger was dispelled last week as City routed the Jets 3-0.
Joyce has clearly got the rest of the squad behind him, who demonstrated they can be a force even without Fornaroli.
Two of their three goals came from young Aussie talents Riley McGree and Lachlan Wales.
This youth-based focus is clearly the direction the City and Joyce have opted for this season.
As they will likely line-up without Fornaroli again, Joyce and City will be looking for another strong performance to keep their fans happy.
It won't be easy against the ladder-leading Glory.
Tony Popovic's men were disappointing last week in what was their worst game of the campaign.
Even so, they were able to salvage a late 1-1 draw against the Phoenix in Wellington.
Back at home, they will want to get straight back into the winner's circle.
Considering they triumphed in their previous two fixtures at NIB Stadium, Popovic and his team can be confident of another win.
Key A-League stat
The underdog has won 4 of the previous 5 encounters between these sides: Melbourne City to win @ $3.20
A-League Tip: Match to end in a draw @ $3.40
Reasoning: Based on last week's games, City appear to be on the up while Perth could be on the slide.
Both teams appear evenly matched and a draw looks the best bet.
The final game of the round sees the Roar and Jets do battle in what promises to be a very competitive game.
Both teams are sitting on the cusp of the Top 6, with the Roar just 1 point ahead and currently in a finals football spot.
At home, the Novacastrians will be looking to flip the equation and leapfrog Brisbane into the Top 6.
They will also be aiming to bounce back after they were outplayed in last week's 3-0 loss to City in Melbourne.
The Jets have been a much better team at home this campaign, despite failing to find their first win at Hunter Stadium.
The first step will be keeping a clean sheet. With the battle-hardened and experienced centre back pairing of Nigel Boogaard and Nikolai Topor-Stanley, this is a strong possibility.
This is especially the case as Brisbane's big signing Adam Taggart limped off with a groin injury in last week.
He was in Asian Cup contention for the Socceroos before this injury blow, in what is also a tough pill to swallow for the Roar.
Brisbane will look to "the slippery fish" Henrique to fill in for the injured Taggart.
Despite lacking some of the speed of his earlier days, this diminutive Brazilian is still a handful for any defence.
He scored after coming on for Taggart last week, and he will look to put another one in the back of the net against the Jets here.
Brisbane will also be without midfielder Stefan Mauk, who sensationally knocked himself out after committing a straight-red offence last week.
Even if he wasn't suspended, concussion protocols mean that Mauk probably would've been sidelined anyway.
And after only picking up 1 point from their three away games this campaign, the Roar face an uphill battle to get something from this clash.

The Jets have won their previous 3 matches against the Roar: Newcastle to win @ $2.10
A-League Tip: Newcastle Jets to win @ $2.10
Reasoning: In front of their home fans, expect last year's grand finalists to bounce back.
