Sandown Lakeside Race 4 Tip #1 D'grammy $7.00
This lightly raced runner from the Maher/Eustace stable drops in grade from a BM78 over the Caulfield 1400m.
On face value his last run was fair, however the gelding over-raced in the early stages and couldn't find clear air for the most part.
His final 200m was strong enough to suggest he'll be well suited over a mile.
The lack of early speed engaged is a huge plus and from barrier two, you can expect apprentice Theodore Nugent to utilise the 3kg claim and go forward.
Nugent looks likely to get a soft run on the pace, which will ensure there is plenty left in the tank to hold off his rivals.
The $7 looks overs and it wouldn't surprise to see strong support late in betting.

Kensington Race 2 #4 Phoenix River $9.50
This three-year-old colt from the Anthony Cummings yard has had two trials leading into his debut here.
The first trial was just okay and he was soon put out for a spell.
His second trial was a much improved effort, where the son of So You Think placed third amongst winners including She's Furline, Invictus Salute and Republic.
Invictus Salute has notched-up a win against Royal Celebration, who has won over $265K in prize money to date.
From barrier eight, look for Blake Shinn to settle towards the rear and use the long straight to mow down the front-runner Phoenix River.
The colt's breeding line suggests he will suit longer distance events, however the each-way odds are too good to pass up here.
Kensington race 6 #8 Tchaikovsky $3.90
Has caught my eye since stepping out in his first trial this time last year.
Since then, the colt has contested some top quality races including the Group 2 Todman where he finished third, as well as the Group 1 Golden Rose Stakes which was a poor showing.
Since the spell, he's had two trials.
In the first trial he matched motors in the straight with top class horses like Endless Drama, Showtime and Expressway Stakes winner Alizee.
The blinkers went on in his second trial and the colt took a closer position in the run, which saw him go over the line with I Am Serious who is a handy mare with 8 wins to her name.
From barrier 10, I expect Brett Prebble to take a handy position and show that Tchaikovsky is a class above this lot.

Kensington Race 3 Tip #2 Toryjoy $3.00
This Chris Waller trained mare is in great form, with her most recent four runs bringing a win and three placings.
She’s never missed the top three over the track and distance and sixth-up here with plenty of fitness on her side, she has to be a red hot chance.
The booking of McEvoy could be all she needs to see her return to the winner's circle.
Sandown Race 7 Tip #4 Gold Mag $2.40
Four starts so far for this lightly raced gelding, for two wins and two placings.
His effort first-up behind a sharp one and subsequent winner in Tin Hat, was full of merit and I think he will take plenty from that run.
He draws nicely here and with a 1/1 record second-up and a win and a placing at the track, I think he will be winning this.
